Interpretive Data
Pleural and Pericardial Fluids - Ratio of fluid to serum protein ≥ 0.5 is indicative of exudate and < 0.5 of transudate.
Peritoneal - Protein ≥ 3.0 g/dL is indicative of exudates and < 3.0 g/dL of transudates.
