Container/Tube:   mint green LiHep Tube (preffered)

Specimen Volume:  1 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume:  0.5 mL plasma

Collection Instructions:

• Indicate time and route of administration of last dose.
• Draw times:
  • Peak Level
    • IV bolus - 30 min after end of infusion
    • IV infusion - 12 - 24 hours after start of infusion
  • Peak level (p.o.) -
    • Fast dissolution preparation therapy - 1-3 hours after at least 8 hours of therapy.
    • Slow release preparation therapy - 4-6 hours after at least 8 hours of therapy.
  • Trough level -
    • Just before a dose after at least 8 hours of therapy.
