Interpretive Data
This test determines platelet function.
- If it is within normal range the patient platelet functionality is considered to be normal.
- If the COL/EPI is elevated a second test (COL/ADP)is automatically done.
- If the COL/ADP is normal, the elevation of the COL/EPI is due to medication (aspirin).
- If the COL/ADP is elevated, a true platelet dysfunction may be the cause.
